Dewalt D25501K Review – Pros!
One would think that with the 12 amp motor of the Dewalt D25501K that it would be heavy but the truth is, it is actually quiet light. Having the ability to move the handle around in any position that you like is also a great feature. Although this rotary hammer does not come equipped with any anti vibration technology or features you will find the vibrations from drilling or hammering are in no way unbearable. All in all this is a great hammer drill for getting those big jobs done. An added bonus of the “D25501K” is its nice clean look, and rugged feel.
Dewalt Rotary Hammer Review – Cons!
Just like with all great products of course there a few downfalls of this Dewalt Combination Hammer that you should know before you decide to make a decision to purchase this hammer drill.
The first thing that we found is that this particular model does not come with a depth gauge and in fact Dewalt does not even make one for this model. Also if you are looking to drive ground rods into hard ground then I would not recommend this model, if this is what you are looking to do then I would suggest the D25501K’s bigger brother the DeWalt D25723K.
Dewalt D25501K Review – Overall Thoughts!
Overall, after reviewing the Dewalt D2550K we came to the conclusion that it is a great tool, has an excellent design, excellent construction and fabrication, and performs quite well. Unless you are looking to drive ground rods into hard soil the like we said, we recommend the Dewalt D25723K for this job, otherwise the Dewalt D2550K will be sure to meet your needs and not disappoint.
